Culinary Experiences

We are located in one of the most beautiful villages in the Luberon. Our Provençal cooking classes are kept small, so that each student enjoys a hands-on experience as well as the personal attention of the Chef, who will guide you along your journey and answer all of your questions.

YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN NEW SKILLS WHILST HAVING FUN DURING THIS COOKING EXPERIENCE

Let us awaken your senses to the enjoyment that comes with a greater appreciation of sustainable eating as we combine our passion for food with our belief in eating in harmony with the seasons.  Our Cooking Experiences offer students something different - not only will we be drawing on a background of over 30 years in the food and entertainment industry, but today at La Récolte we’re also working more and more with the land around the domaine and harvesting much of our own produce. 

Because of Cindy’s health coaching experience, we are aware of the importance of clean eating and try to ensure that we bring this ethos into both our cooking and teaching.

Since our Cooking Experiences are based in Provence, we will naturally be focused on locally sourced artisan produce, around half of which will come from the fruit and vegetable gardens of the domaine itself.

WE OFFER TWO TYPES OF COOKING EXPERIENCES, DEPENDING ON THE DAY YOU CHOOSE:

Cooking Experience Option 1
We meet at the Lourmarin market on a Friday morning at 8.30am for a guided tour of our favourite artisan stalls and to purchase our produce. We then make our way to Domaine de La Récolte and prepare lunch together, led and demonstrated by Nicky and Cindy. This Cooking Experience is only available on Fridays (market day in Lourmarin) and runs from 8.30am - 3pm.

Cooking Experience Option 2
We meet at Domaine de La Récolte and prepare lunch together, led and demonstrated by Nicky and Cindy. This Cooking Experience is available Tuesday thru Thursday and runs from 10am - 3pm.
