IT’S A GUT FEELING

The Link Between Your Emotional and Physical Gut

We've all heard the expression, “Trust Your Gut”.  Think of that gut feeling you had when you met your first love or connected with a new friend that you share so much in common with. Why do you feel something in your stomach? Because our stomach is linked to our brain.

When was the last time you followed your instinct despite not being sure it was the right thing to do?  Did it end up being the right decision?  Even though decisions can be really difficult, with much deliberation often attached to them, so many of our decisions are made from the gut.

Did you also know that Anxiety and Depression are related to poor gut health?  This is why it is so important to focus on your gut health.  I spent many years of my life with severe stomach pain, completely unaware that I was suffering with a lactose intolerance. So for me, working with the gut is personal.  I know firsthand how life changing it can be to heal your gut.  I now help my clients manage their digestion because I know from experience the kind of pain they are dealing with. I allowed my pain to become my norm and now I say “don’t let pain become your normal”, we should not be in pain.

The gut is responsible for our ability to turn food into fuel, to absorb and create certain nutrients and to rid the body of harmful toxins on a daily basis. 60% of our immune system is in our gut, so when you disrupt that ecosystem you are disrupting a big part of how we optimally function.

Coping with stress in your life or ongoing digestive problems like IBS can be difficult to control.  But the good news is that there are solutions, with gut issues, you can take the power back into your own hands and take dis-ease out of the equation. Sign up for a confidential, complimentary 30-minute discovery session with Cindy HERE and take back control of your health.
